Family Support Worker

£12.30 per hour

Join Our Compassionate Team – Make a Real Difference Every Day

Are you passionate about supporting families and carers of loved ones living with dementia? Do you want to be part of a dedicated, community-focused team that values dignity, respect, and emotional support?

We are seeking a Family Support Worker to provide essential care, advice, and  emotional support to individuals caring for someone at home, particularly those affected by dementia. This rewarding role involves direct support to carers, working closely with health professionals, assisting with practical needs, and contributing to the wider mission of our charity through promotion, administration, and fundraising.

Location: Minerva House, Horden, SR8, 4DQ (with travel required across Hartlepool and East Durham)

Hours: 24 hours per week, Monday–Friday (on a rota basis)

Key requirements: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle during working hours is essential, along with business insurance

Senior Care Assistant

£13.46 per hour

At Stichell House, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Care Assistants to join our friendly team. You will need a strong understanding of medication management and CQC compliance, along with an ability to provide safe and effective person-centred care.

Set in the landscaped grounds of the beautiful Greatham estate, Stichell House is a modern residential home in an enviable location. We offer 35 en-suite bedrooms, in a purpose built, modern facility with outstanding levels of care.

Hours: Average of 30 hours per week on a rota basis. Mondays to Sundays (including Bank Holidays).

Key requirements: NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care
