How to apply
The Almshouse Support Worker plays a key role in supporting residents to live independently within The Greatham Foundation's Almshouse communities.
Working alongside the Almshouse Lead, the postholder will provide practical and wellbeing support to residents, helping them access appropriate services, maintain their independence and participate in community life.
The role requires an understanding of the needs of older people, including those living with dementia, and a commitment to delivering person-centred support that promotes wellbeing, independence and quality of life.
Location: Working across all Almshouse properties (Hartlepool & Stockton)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week over three days. Requirement in the future to work weekends.

Working as part of the night team, you will promote residents' independence wherever possible while responding sensitively to their individual physical and emotional needs. You will help create a calm, safe and reassuring environment, ensuring residents receive outstanding care during overnight hours.
Location: Stichell House, Greatham, Hartlepool
Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities available. Working a rolling rota including nights, weekends and Bank Holidays
How to apply
At Stichell House, we are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Senior Care Assistants to join our friendly team. You will need a strong understanding of medication management and CQC compliance, along with an ability to provide safe and effective person-centred care.
Location: Stichell House, Greatham, Hartlepool
Hours: Average of 30 hours per week on a rota basis. Mondays to Sundays (including Bank Holidays).
Key requirements: NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care
