  5. If you are a current employee of The Greatham Foundation and wish to apply for a vacancy, please request an internal application form from HR.
  6. Complete the application form and email it to hr@thegreathamfoundation.org.uk or post to: HR Department, Estate Office, Greatham, Hartlepool, TS25 2HS - applications must be received before the closing date, however, we may close vacancies earlier.
  7. Application forms can also be picked up from one of our venues.

The Greatham Foundation—one of the UK’s oldest charities—is seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to lead us into our next chapter. With a rich history dating back to 1273 and a robust financial base, we deliver high-quality care, housing, and dementia support across the North East. We are now poised for growth, innovation, and greater influence.

We’re seeking a CEO who:

  • Has led complex organisations
  • Is a confident communicator and highly literate, with the ability to inspire and influence
  • Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a deep commitment to our mission
  • Can modernise and commercialise our approach while safeguarding our values and income
  • Has strong governance experience and can work effectively with Trustees
  • Comes from a background in the charitable, health, or social care sectors
