Care Assistant - Minibus Driver

£12.43 per hour

Are you someone who enjoys helping others, has a caring nature, and is a confidentdriver? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the community-based services team at The Greatham Foundation as a Care Assistant – Minibus Driver.

In this rewarding role, you will be supporting people living with dementia or memory impairment by:

  • Safely collecting people from their homes and transporting them to our day centres
  • Supporting them with meaningful activities that promote wellbeing and independence
  • Helping to reduce social isolation and enhance quality of life
  •  Ensuring people feel valued, comfortable, and supported throughout their day

You’ll be based across two welcoming centres: The Heathers Day Centre in Hartlepool and Minerva House in East Durham, working as part of a friendly, supportive team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A compassionate, patient, and dependable individual
  • Good understanding or experience of supporting people with dementia
  • Physically and mentally resilient – the work can be challenging, but incredibly rewarding
  • A full, clean UK driving licence
  • Willingness to undertake a MIDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) certificate

Hours: 30 hours per week on a rota basis. Mondays to Saturdays (including Bank Holidays).

Key requirements: Valid current UK driving license.

Senior Care Assistant

£13.46 per hour

At Stichell House, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Care Assistants to join our friendly team. You will need a strong understanding of medication management and CQC compliance, along with an ability to provide safe and effective
person-centred care.

Set in the landscaped grounds of the beautiful Greatham estate, Stichell House is a modern residential home in an enviable location. We offer 35 en-suite bedrooms, in a purpose built, modern facility with outstanding levels of care.

Location:
Based at Stichell House, Greatham, Hartlepool

Hours: Average of 30 hours per week on a rota basis. Mondays to Sundays (including Bank Holidays).

Key Requirement: NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care

Kitchen Assistant (part-time positions available)

£12.25 per hour

We are looking for a dynamic individual who really does care and has a flair in a catering environment. Your role will include general kitchen duties, preparing food alongside the Cook/Assistant Cook and food service to our residents. You will be a key part of our
mealtime experience.

Set in the landscaped grounds of the beautiful Greatham estate, Stichell House is a modern residential home in an enviable location. We offer 35 en-suite bedrooms, in a purpose built, modern facility with outstanding levels of care.

Location: Based at Stichell House, Greatham, Hartlepool

Hours: Part Time positions available on a rota basis. Mondays to Sundays (including Bank Holidays). Shifts available 09:00 – 13:00 and 14:00 – 17:00

Care Assistant (part-time positions available)

£12.36 per hour

Set in the landscaped grounds of the beautiful Greatham estate, Stichell House is a modern residential home in an enviable location. We offer 35 en-suite bedrooms, in a purpose built, modern facility with outstanding levels of care.

Our Care Assistants play a critical part in delivering person-centred outcome-focussed care to maintain the health and wellbeing of our residents and empower them to have independence, autonomy, choice and control in their lives.

Location: Based at Stichell House, Greatham, Hartlepool

Hours: Part Time positions available on a rota basis. Mondays to Sundays (including Bank Holidays).

Key Requirement: Part time positions are a minimum of 23 hours per week
